Our Founder
The FORUS Company was founded in 2015 by tech entrepreneur Uttam Goyal, who ventured into business ownership after departing from their previous job to elevate the lighting landscape in India. FORUS is dedicated to bringing international standards of design and quality to the Indian market." Mr. Goyal holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from IIT Roorkee. With a professional background in the thermal and solar energy sectors, he has overseen the design, quality, and estimation functions for over 20 projects, totaling more than 100 crores in worth. On a personal level, Mr. Goyal is actively involved in various social causes, including civil rights, disaster and humanitarian relief, economic empowerment, and environmental consciousness. Recognising the limited options for decorative lighting in India, FORUS aims to address this gap by offering affordable lighting solutions and illuminating every household in the country. Through our OEM manufacturing, we develop products that incorporate the latest in power-efficient light-emitting diode (LED) technology.
